NSW
National Parks Important Information
Moerlina
ski lodge is located inside the
NSW
Kosciuszko
National Park. You will need to purchase a National Park pass if you want to gain vehicle access to the Perisher Blue or
Thredbo
ski resorts.
There are three things to bear in mind:
1
.
There is no overnight parking at Perisher or Smiggins
during the winter season
but
Moerlina
has four parking spots officially allocated.
2
.
You will need to make parking arrangements
prior to the commencement of your stay at the lodge
with your lodge captain as there may be other guests wanting a car spot.
3
.
All vehicles (4X4 and
AWD
exempt) must carry chains into the park. While 4X4 and AWD are not required by law to carry chains into the Kosciuszko National Park it is recommended that they do so due to the high incidents of accidents in the area. For more information on driving safely see
driving safely in the snow
.
